Cards / Screens

With the same enthusiasm as every Thursday, we are going to tell you what’s new this week.

Our art team has had to revise the polygons of the characters and the environment to reduce CPU and memory consumption during gameplay.

Similarly, the development team has focused on restructuring how UI assets are laid out across sprite sheets, to reduce the memory footprint for in-game menus.

The game team made great strides in the flow of battle, triggering the corresponding bot animations associated with each card, and hit reactions will be ready soon.

They are now working on the new event-based VFX system that will generate the effects associated with each animation, using pools of resources to streamline instantiation.

The API is almost complete on the backend side, and soon all game logic will be driven by data stored in the remote database.

The authorization architecture is also ready to be integrated into the game, in order to allow users to register with their Gmail/Apple ID accounts.

Once again, see you next week with more updates and you know, GET READY FOR BATTLE!

Difficulties arise even in the best families, and we were not going to be an exception. But what we are is fighters and we are doing everything in our power to succeed without losing quality, which we consider to be essential in our project for your greatest enjoyment.
